Hi Simon & Josie, just to tell you we found your place far too late in our holiday. But the last two nights were just great (sunday & monday) and hopefully we will enjoy some great nights with you next year. Hope Redent is now a proud father and wife and baby are doing well.

Wonderful entertainment in the best bar in Qawra. As usual Red is absolutely brilliant. A must for every Elvis fan. Not only Elvis but all the other entertainers make for a wonderful evening. Can't forget Simon & Josie who always make you feel welcome. Thank you all

The San Pawl il-Bahar Local Council is organising a concert by Mark Andrew Tabone, on Saturday, 26th June at Ta' Fra Ben, Qawra, San Pawl il-Bahar.

Mark, a Gozitan descendent who hails from Melbourne, has recently won the Elvis World Cup Qualifier for Australia. During his teen years in Gozo Mark also sang with the local band ‘The Tramps.’ He moved back to Australia in his late teens and formed a band. He launched his Elvis tribute band ‘Elvis Leaves His Mark’ in 1998 and is now one of the best tribute shows worldwide. He has finished in the top 5 in Memphis 2002 – Elvis impersonators competition.

Mark will be celebrating the king’s 75th birth year in style as he will be representing Australia in the Elvis World Cup. Mark participated in the Elvis World Cup Qualifier – Australia and competed against 12 other contestants. Mark went ahead to win this award and he will now represent Australia in the the Elvis World Cup which will be held in July 2010 in Wales.

Simon and Josie are fab hosts and what a little gem Simon's Bar really is. Met some nice people there (hi to Steve and Jean) and will be back again at some point soon.
